Adding AD attributes to email disclaimers

I’m getting asked more and more about how to add disclaimers to emails, that contain more than just basic text.

This is now possible in Exchange 2010.
We can add images, HTML and AD attributes for example.

So have a look at the following eg from TechNet:

<div style="font-size:9pt;  font-family: ‘Calibri’,sans-serif;">
%%displayname%%</br>
%%title%%</br>
%%company%%</br>
%%street%%</br>
%%city%%, %%state%% %%zipcode%%</div>
&nbsp;</br>
<div style="background-color:#D5EAFF; border:1px dotted #003333; padding:.8em; ">
<div>
<img alt="Fabrikam"  src="http://fabrikam.com/images/fabrikamlogo.png"></div>
<span style="font-size:12pt;  font-family: ‘Cambria’,’times new roman’,’garamond’,serif; color:#ff0000;">HTML Disclaimer Title</span></br>
<p style="font-size:8pt; line-height:10pt; font-family: ‘Cambria’,’times roman’,serif;">This message contains confidential information and is intended only for the individual(s) addressed in the message. If you are not the named addressee, you should not disseminate, distribute, or copy this e-mail. If you are not the intended recipient, you are notified that disclosing, distributing, or copying this e-mail is strictly prohibited.  </p>
<span style="padding-top:10px; font-weight:bold; color:#CC0000; font-size:10pt; font-family: ‘Calibri’,Arial,sans-serif; "><a href="
Fabrikam">http://www.fabrikam.com">Fabrikam, Inc. </a></span></br></br>
</div>

The parts in blue are some new cool things.
The %% variables are pulling in AD attrib’s and the image loading from a website is neat, as you can put your company logo on there too.

Time to sell my shares in Exclaimer! 😉
